Palais du Louvre, exterior. Pretty glass pyramids, pre-revolutionary architechture, you know the deal...

... and interior, the main entrance under the largest pyramid.
Mona Lisa (La Joconde) - check!
And a variety of more interesting things...
... including a very large colection of Mesoppotamian artefacts...

... and rather an odd Ancient Egyption baboon-freize.

Centre Pompidou, from a variety of angles...

... and water sculptury things.

Notre Dame de Paris - unfortunately swathed in scaffolding in several places which rather reduced it's phogogenicity... also the fact it was raining, which reduced my patience for walking around to find its best angle :)

The Seine - a greener shade of muddy than the Thames, but otherwise very similar realy...

... And an excessive number of photos of the Eiffel Tower, which we couldn't get up because the morning's thunderstorm had led to a lightning strike...

Pretty reflections...

And from Trocadero.

This bridge was closed as we went under it, and parked solid with police buses - another pensions demo (assisted by hundreds of armed Gendarmes) essentially closed the centre of town... fortunately we were going the other way.

More around Pompidou...
... and the panorama from its roof...

That's all, Folks!
